The 100 Greatest Singers of All Time

Rolling Stone has a knack for pushing the buttons of music fans when they publish thier "100 Greatest" lists. A few years back they published a list of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time" and had some glaring omissions. Check out this list and see where your favorites stack up. Perhaps next time they should list the greatest front person or greatest ROCK singer.

Shows this weekend... My gig Saturday night.

Tomorrow night is an end of an era - so to speak. Return to Self and Deadsun will "pulling the plug" Friday night at 12th & Porter. Both bands have a long history in the Nashville rock scene and will be missed. I wish them well and hope they continue to set the scene on fire with more great music and rockin' shows!

Speaking of shows how about a spectacle? I will be joining band JonesWorld for a killer Prince tribute show entitled "A Night In Purple." If you love Prince, George Clinton, Van Halen-esque guitar riffs and love a great party time stop by Saturday night at Limelight (behind LP Field).
