NASHVILLE GUITARIST ATTEMPTS BREAKING WORLD’S LARGEST PEDALBOARD AGAIN JULY 16th

Nashville, Tennessee - 6/10/09 Nashville radio personality Aljon Go throws a party to break last year’s record of the world’s largest pedal board and raise money for the National Kidney Foundation of Middle Tennessee.

Gopher Entertainment Group presents The Second Annual World’s Largest Pedalboard Party. The event will be held Thursday July 16, 2009 at The Rutledge. Party will feature performances from: Flight Case For Sushi, Philos and more to be announced as well as guitar clinics from: Bart Walsh, Tony Pasko, Aljon Go and more. Attendees will have a chance to meet the manufactures and partners. There will also be a silent auction of various guitar accessories donated by event partners benefiting the National Kidney Foundation of Middle Tennessee.

Nashville guitarist/blogger Aljon Go recently made plans to build, operate and claim the record for the world’s largest pedalboard. On June 18, 2008 he and fellow guitarist Jaux King, set the world’s record at 12th and Porter. Guitarists from novice to professional generally use several guitar pedals (electronic devices giving them different sounds like Hendrix’s fuzz or U2’s Edge echo) to craft their own signature tones. Having generated a buzz through viral marketing, comments are flooding in from guitarists all over the world. Event organizer, Aljon Go mentions, “It started out as a laugh. Now it’s become a reality. I just wanted to push the technology as far as it could go and see how insane it can get. This extraordinary pedalboard is far from practical, but every pedal is operational. This has become a celebration of the advancements in guitar technology and innovation. It will be a great party. What a great time to be a guitarist!” .

The World’s Largest Pedalboard Party will be held at The Rutledge, 410 4th Ave. South., Nashville Thursday July 16th. Doors will open at 6 p.m., is “smoke-free” and an 18 and up event . The silent auction and music starts at 7 p.m. Admission is $7/ $5 with NAMM badge. The event is presented by Gopher Entertainment Group.
