Sorcerer Radio Announces Re-branding and new show concept of "Tiki Room Morning Show: Under New Management" to "WDW Tiki Room."
(Orlando, Florida) December 31, 2010 — The Sorcerer Radio Network announces a re-branding and re-launching of it’s weekly morning show "The Tiki Room Morning Show: Under New Management." The program's new name is now "WDW Tiki Room". The new show name is effective immediately. Along with the re-naming, the show is also reformatting the show to include lifestyle segments, pop-culture clips and the addition of regular "cast members". In addition, the Sorcerer Radio Network will begin teasing new things coming to Sorcerer Radio in 2011. “Both Kristen and I thought it was time for a change. Sorcerer Radio is all about celebrating people's Disney fandom, so this new show will be a combination of our "Tiki Room Midday Show" in terms of pop-culture/film/television content and an entertainment magazine show with regular segment contributers. Sort of a Disney entertainment radio magazine variety show. It will still have the spirit of the morning show but will have more value in terms of info-tainment. Sorcerer Radio has been a leader in programming for internet stations from the get go. The new name is shorter and ties it in with our favorite theme park,” said Aljon Go, show co-host and Sorcerer Radio station manager.
The new regular show segments include the following: "Bonus Levels", a segment about Disney videogames hosted by Sorcerer Radio DJ Eric Allen, "The Deek Report" featuring Chip and George of 2LonleyDeeks.com, "The Disney Trip Planner" with travel expert Kathy Peacock of Magical Journeys Travel and the return to Sorcerer Radio of MuppetCast host, Steve Swanson hosting the "Muppet Minute". There will also be segments dedicated to collecting, the "Tiki Room Book Club" and more to be announced.
The new show content will air January 7, 2010 on SRSounds.com and on Live365.
